About me

California bred and raised.

City girl who found herself village living in Uganda or two years. However I am now back to that city life in California.

Hey y'all I'm Chantelle. People tend to call me Chanty or Tendo depends on the circle I'm in. I think life is better lived while traveling and seeing new places. I have a huge passion for photography. I'm a secret dancer. I'm obsessed with TV Shows so you can often find me binge watching Netflix. Reading calms my anxiety that often fills my mind. I teach tiny humans, molding their minds and creating in them the knowledge that they can and will change the world. I stand firm in knowing that I can change the world one step at a time. Uganda has a special place in my heart and I was finally able to make it my home for two years. I am a Returned Peace Corps volunteer. This blog shares my journey as a PCV and now my journey as an RPCV.

Since moving back to America I got a full time job at my old work and I am LOVING every second of it. I met the love of my life and am getting married. We are planning our wedding and plan to be married in January of 2021.
